For over 25 years, Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust has been providing a vital helicopter emergency service to residents and visitors. Flying 365 days a year and attending around 1,000 emergency missions every year, this service has often made the difference between life and death.
From its new, purpose-built charity headquarters and operational facility at Cornwall Airport Newquay, Cornwall’s air ambulance helicopter arrives on scene at an incident in an average of 12 minutes from a 999 call.
…attending an average of 3-4 emergency missions every single day
Cornwall Air Ambulance receives no direct government or National Lottery funding, and so relies entirely on the generosity of supporters both in Cornwall and further afield.
The new headquarters to the south side of Cornwall Airport Newquay secure the charity for the future, making the organisation the first in the UK to have its charity offices and operational facility in the same location.
